How would you describe the fighting during WWII and how it affected soldiers and civilians in different parts of the world? How and why has it been interpreted and represented? History assessment By William Fish

Background information.

The two wars There where two different parts of the second world war, the war in Europe and the one in Japan. The one in Europe was with the Germans and the allies. The one in Japan was with the Japanese and the Americans. Both wars were similar in a way that they where both started by people that had no respect for the other side.

The allies The US, Russia, and Great Britain, along with France, China, Canada. Poland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India, the Netherlands, Czechoslovakia, Belgium, Denmark and Norway also joined the allies. The Soviet Union was initially part of the Axis Powers but switched sides so did Finland and Romania. That's who the Germans (axis) faced during the second world war.

Germany Germany was a country ruled by Hitler who was a vicious dictator that would stop at nothing to get world domination.

The soviet union After versing the allies, Germans faced the soviet union coming in from the west targeting the oil place cutting off the oil to the rest of the soviet union but Adolf Hitler got too cocky and split into two groups and target the city of Stalingrad as well and it didn’t go well.

Japan and the Americans Japan was a country with strong religious believes and they would never surrender. America were a mix of races trying to destroy an enemy that surprise attacked them and destroyed a whole harbour.

The battles Europe!!!

The battles Japan!!

Conclusion Through the war there where lost of different mistakes possibly the worst one was going to war in the first place but people think the Germans should have because they had wrights. In my opinion I think that the conclusion to the war is that if it hadn’t happened the it would have effect on what we are today.
