The students will identify laws passed to protect citizen’s health and preserve the environment by explaining the purposes of these laws Hand-in: Chapter 9 Vocabulary Warm-up Question: Read the Now and Then on page 345 and answer the following questions: 1. Explain the purpose for meat inspection. 2. Identify the methods meat inspectors utilized into the 1990’s to inspect meat.
