Basketball Court

Scoring 1. A goal is made when a live ball enters the basket from above and remains within or passes through. 2. A goal from the field counts 2 points unless attempted from beyond the 3-point line when it counts 3 points; a goal from a free throw counts 1 point. A goal from the field counts from the team attacking the basket into which the ball is thrown. 3. After each goal,the ball is put into play by the team that did not score from the out-of -bounds area at the end of the court at which the basket has been score.

Timing -The game shall consist of two halves of 20 minutes each, with normally of interval of 10 minutes between halves. If the score is a tie at the end of the second half,the game shall be continue for an extra period of 5 minutes or as many such periods of 5 minutes as may be necessary to break the tie. -Two charged time-out,may be granted to each team during each half of playing time,and one charged time-out for each extra period. _A time-out of one minute duration shall be charged to a team during a time-out opportunity.

E. Playing 1.Basketball is a very fast, non-contact game played between two teams. 2. Each team shall consists of not more than 12 players, one of whom shall be the Captain. ( but only five are allowed on the court at any onetime.) 3.Captain is the representative of his team. 4. A substitute opportunity begin when the ball becomes dead and the game clock is stop. 5. The game shall be started by a jump- ball in the center circle.

Regulation -A player shall not remain for more than 3 seconds,in the part of the opponents restricted area, between the end line and the farther edge of the free throw line, while his team is in control of the ball. -Player cannot hold the ball more than 5 seconds. -When team gains control of a live ball in its back court, it must, within 10 seconds cause the ball to go into its front court. -When a team gain control of a live ball on the front court a shot for goal must be made within 30 seconds- Welcome to see a Competition. - A player whose team is in control of the ball in the front court, may not cause the ball to go into his back court.(Pass back)

Violations Include causing the ball to go out of bounds, Double dribbling, Running with the ball, Kicking the ball(positive act) Excessively swinging arms or elbows even though there is no contact with opponent interfering with basket, Goaltending,illegal throw-in, putting regulations, 3 second rule,and 10 second rule ect.

Penalty Any player who has committed five fouls either personal or technical must automatically leave the game. After a team has committed 7 players fouls, personal or technical,in a half all subsequent player fouls shall be penalized by the two free throws.

Team tactics Team offence: -Accurate passing and skilful dribbling will give your team such an opportunity. -Pass the ball around the key area until you can gain a clear shot at goal.
