The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall was dedicated on November 13, 1982 to the more than 58,000 men and women that died in the Vietnam War. The wall is maintained by volunteers from the 4/9 Infantry Manchu (Vietnam) Association. It is a very powerful memorial made of black granite.
