On and off the clock Please remember that when you clock in you are on duty until you clock out. If you are waiting a table please be conscious of your customers and keep breaks to a minimum. Drinking a beverage is OK, Sitting down for a meal is NOT OK When the shift is over you must let your manager know your leaving –We pay on the.15 but if you slip out at 5:45 don't expect to be paid till 6:00 –Cleaning the prep area is part of the wait-staff’s job –So is making sure silverware is rolled Managers have the right to change these rules at their discretion

Team Building We are all in this together. If someone needs help or is overloaded and you are free, lending a hand is the decent thing to do. Respect your fellow workers and treat them the way you want to be treated. Leave the petty fights for someplace else. On busy nights see if the dishwasher’s need help putting away plates and glasses. The less bodies in the prep area the better. We are always willing to take comments good or bad so if you think there is a better way speak up and be heard. Don’t let problems fester, talk to someone in management and we will help work out an agreeable resolution.

Talking to the customer Please address all customers as such: –Men - Commander, Captain or Sir –Women - Ma’am –Young Men - Master –Young Women - Young Lady Please try to not discuss modern politics, news, etc Try and keep in character (our period is ) to enhance their experience Treat them with respect no matter how annoyed you get. Always try to diffuse a bad situation with kind words, or in worse case get a manager, remember the customer is always right

!!!! TAKE NOTICE !!!! Nightly Shut Down When you fill out the daily closing log please remember a few things... Safety is no Joke - Turning off equipment prevents fires Marking the box, or signing your name, states that to the best of your ability and knowledge the task was completed and has been finished. Filling in a box or signing off when you know that it has not been done is considered Falsifying a Report and can lead to losing your job or injury of a team member. So be sure that if you sign off on a task it is done. As always, if you are asked to perform or sign off on a task that you have not received training in, or you do not feel comfortable performing, do not sign the paper.
