5 Points of single contact in the Services Directive Common requirement profile of the PSC (I)  Common requirement profile worked out by the Federal Government and the 16 federal „Länder“ in 2007: PSCs are under the remit of the „Länder“  all parties involved share a common basic understanding of the tasks and methods of the PSCs  Electronic and physical approach  PSC responds to the individual needs of service providers

6 Points of single contact in the Services Directive Common requirement profile of the PSC (II)  Central online portal on federal level (Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology): basic information to help service providers locate the correct PSC  National service providers should also take advantage of the PSC

7 Points of single contact in the Services Directive Chosen Models:  Use of existing structures  Intermediate or high authorities (central model): Berlin, Brandenburg, Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt, Hessen, Rheinland-Pfalz  Chambers: Saarland, Thüringen, Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern  Municipalities: Bremen  Cooperation models: Bayern, Baden-Württemberg, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Schleswig-Holstein, Niedersachsen
