Knowledge Transfer Accelerating Innovation The Life Sciences section promotes, raises awareness and participates in multidisciplinary activities relevant to life sciences applications. slide 13 Life Sciences Section KT HR Induction Program

Knowledge Transfer Accelerating Innovation slide 14 Life Sciences Section KT HR Induction Program In particular, the Life Sciences Section:  Provides information and advice to the CERN management on all questions of life sciences which may be relevant to CERN  Gives advice to and participates in activities dealing with life sciences carried out CERN wide  Continues and expands the participation in EC funded R&D and training projects across a distinguished network of European research centres, universities and healthcare companies  Enhances the ENLIGHT network for hadron therapy and expand CERN’s collaboration to external life sciences activities  Promotes and organizes knowledge exchanges events in the multidisciplinary domain of medical applications, bringing together Physics, Biology and Medicine expertise for the advancement of cancer treatment.
