FOCUS To develop the relationship between the stakeholders from both organisations involved in the training programs To improve information sharing between the two organisations To improve communication and reporting between the two organisations To develop stakeholders’ skills in using e-communication strategies To improve the training partnership To pilot communication and reporting strategies using e- communication technology and the templates developed

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS Teleconference with key stakeholders from both organisations to discuss actions and roles Survey training partnership stakeholders on information and communication needs, collate findings into actions Developed a key contact list in partnership Developed reporting templates for management Face to face meeting at Coonamble to trial a range of technologies to use for online communication with management and trainees Visits to Regional Aboriginal Co-ordinators and Murdi Paaki staff in Bourke, Brewarrina, Coonamble and Broken Hill to build the network

CHALLENGES Geographical distance between team members Time commitment of key stakeholders Fear of using new technology Buy in from teachers on consistent approach instead of all using their own system

OUTCOMES Developed range of technology and online delivery platforms Customised toolboxes for flexible delivery Used communication and marketing skills to interact with employers and employees Shared information with managers of business Delivered and assessed using online technologies

FUTURE DIRECTION Evaluate online communication tools and decide on what we will use in training partnership – for management and trainees Feedback from stakeholders on improvements in the communication and information sharing process Evaluate this process every six months for continuous improvement and currency of tools
