Purpose of Club Sports "The purpose of Club Sports at Wayne State University is to provide members of the student body with an opportunity to participate in sports and activities that promote socialization, physical activity, lifetime fitness and wellness practices." ( df)

Background Club Sports have been here at Wayne State University since June 2007 ( They are completely self funded No scholarships

Problem Currently WSU Club Sports funded by the university’s students/members are decreasing one by one. It has been brought to the attention of the Club Sports members that Club Sports are lacking funding leading to cancellation of Club Sports.Currently WSU Club Sports funded by the university’s students/members are decreasing one by one.
