Presentation transcript:

o 4,425 Americans have been killed and 20,000 or more have been wounded. Hundreds of thousands Iraqi civilian deaths occurred. o The weakening of the U.S. military, and economic costs over $2 trillion. Iraqi deaths since the 2003 invasion is 650,000.

$900 billion spent on the U.S. side o Taxpayers funds were spent and approved by U.S. monthly spending in Iraq---$7.3 billion as of October o In 2008 U.S spent $12 billion. The U.S. spending per second is---$5,000 in 2008 o The cost for deploying one soldier from Iraq for one year is---$390,000.

o A tragic and sad movie to watch The movie taught me that a lot of people are angry about the war and want it to end. o A lot of people lost there loved ones because of the war. The men suffered emotionally from there experiences involving the war. o And people with family in the war had it rough also, because they didn’t know whether they were coming home or getting a call that said they died.

Are the Iraqi’s living conditions. o Also the pain you could see on the soldiers faces when you saw them in each scene of the movie. I actually was also surprised at how many of them were willing to talk about there experiences or a loved one that passed.
