The government did not care what happened in the beginning of the war. President Bush did not even read things that were sent by Generals. The American Soldiers only guarded the oil refineries while the Iraqis were looting the city.

The government did nothing to help the troops. They did not have armored hum vies or proper weapons to protect themselves from the Iraqis. The politicians did not communicate with the generals. The generals would tell them they need something or something is not working and they would pretend like they never got it or heard it.

President Bush had a personal reason to go after the Iraqi people because Saddam Hussein tried to assonate his father. The government only spent $1 billion on the Iraqi reconstruction, when they had $18 billion to spend. No one communicated well. Everyone had a different idea about how Iraq was going to be.

We should not send in troops that don’t need to be there. We should listen to what the Afghanistan people and our generals have to say, so we move in the right direction. We can’t just go in like were in charge. We should help them improve in every way we can.

Iraq withdrawal dates are set for August 2010. Afghanistan has no withdrawal dates set because there is talk about adding more troops to end the war sooner.
