3  Spent & Approved War- Spending - About $900 billion of US taxpayers' funds  Lost & Unaccounted for in Iraq - $9 billion of US taxpayers' money  Missing - $1 billion in tractor trailers, tank recovery vehicles, machine guns, rocket-propelled grenades and other equipment and services provided to the Iraqi security forces.  Mismanaged & Wasted in Iraq - $10 billion

4  Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al- Maliki’s government was approved in 2010.  All of the major political parties and ethnic groups are participating for the first time in an Iraqi government.

5  In May of 2010 an agreement was reached to end the de-Baathification campaign.  The disqualification of hundreds of candidates threw politics into turmoil before the March 7 parliamentary elections.  “There will be no more.” President Jalal Talabani stated.

6  Noted by many as one of the United States’ biggest mistakes in the war.  President George W. Bush blamed L. Paul Bremer for the decision to disband the Iraqi military.  Bremer claims that he was only taking orders from the then secretary of defense Donald Rumsfeld.
