How did this religion start? Began in 1300 BCE or earlier One of oldest religions Oldest religion to worship one God Leaders and Important people that created the religion No single founder Many prophets and leaders Abraham and Moses are important people in creating the religion Isaac and Jacob (son of Isaac)=second and third founders First Jew=Abraham Abraham lived in Middle East where people worshipped many Gods Began when Abraham worshipped one God God told Abraham and Sarah (wife) to leave Mesopotamia and go to Israel Moses led out Jewish slaves in Egypt Fion Yi Judaism
