3 THE EARLY HEBREWS Moses Lived in Egypt Told by God to gain freedom of Hebrew slaves and led them from Egypt Led his people out of Egypt on a journey called the Exodus Received the Ten Commandments from God on Mt. Sinai

4 THE EARLY HEBREWS The Mosaic laws – a system of laws that was told to Moses by God. Guide many areas of Jews’ daily lives
