EXPLORE YOUR INTERESTS Help out in an animal shelter or nearest zoo Volunteer at a summer camp or preschool program Play games with kids at a neighborhood center Help out at a homeless shelter or soup kitchen Make curtains or bedspreads for a women’s shelter or nursing home residents Clean up parks or work a neighbor’s garden Join a community theater Join conservation activities

EXPLORE POSSIBLE CAREERS Volunteer at a nursing home, retirement center or hospital Volunteer at the library, day care or community center; read to younger children or help with homework Volunteer at local museum or greenhouse/nursery Help with office work at a nonprofit organization (United Way of Ennis)
