1. Homelessness in Cincinnati
Research the epidemic – numbers, age, health risks, dangers of violence and weather, shelter locations, reasons as to childhood homelessness, what is currently being done in the city
Present this passion to school organizations, city council, business people, young adult coalitions, friends and family
Create a program to continue the education and awareness of the city as to the problem that is happening right outside of their doorsteps
Determine a strong backing behind this solution – including those of influence in the city
Create a fund to raise money
What is working now? What can be improved upon? Improve the current conditions of shelters and soup kitchens
Build new shelters, separated into the necessary demographics – family, all women, all male, young adults women, young adult men, and children
Create programs for homeless children – mentoring programs, educational programs, and professionalism programs that prepare them for future careers (all volunteer based)
Always give back and continue the support
