Business Plan Project ECHO / UCLA Anderson School of Management 5 th Annual Business Plan Competition “New Business Onsite” Canoga Park High School BAITbooth Regina Popova Mae-Jean Diapera

Building Assets through Integrated Technology BAIT is a “school within a school,” offering hands on experiences and college credits that lead to a better future. A small group of teachers work together with students, focusing on multimedia production. We are a team that provides students with extra support and a place to belong. BAIT provides the following: ~Face to Face and online AP classes ~On-site Free Pierce Classes ~College visits ~Peer Leadership ~ School Yearbook Production … and much, much more!!!!

~High school students need photographs to capture the special moments in their lives where they first attend: ~ their homecoming dance ~ senior prom ~and when they finally wear that cap and gown and cross the stage. ~BAITbooth will meet the needs of people to capture those special moments in their lives whether it may be : ~a soccer game ~ school dance ~ or a graduation studio picture.

~Canoga Park High School sponsors a small learning community that focuses on: ~digital imaging ~photo editing ~Photography

~At Canoga Park High School, 1/3 of the graduating class do not take their senior picture, and only a few purchase the homecoming and prom photos available on-sight. ~Primarily, students and families complain about the high costs of studio packages, and the inconvenience of having to go with a specific designated company for their senior portraits, especially if they live some distance away.

Football game and other sports: BAITbooth will create a database of the event and have prints of pictures available for purchase during and after the game upon request. Homecoming: There will be an on-site backdrop for couple or individual pictures, and can be printed immediately after picture is taken. Senior Portraits: The studio will be located in the BAIT’s classroom. Prom: Photos upon request from individuals or groups. **We will acquire a green screen, where any possible background can be inserted as the backdrop of the final picture.

We capture moments during the STUDENTS available time, not ours, like most companies.

~ Affordable prices for the students. ~High quality editing and printing. ~On-site pictures, printing, and editing. ~Green screen capability with optional backdrops ~Convenience of having the studio on campus. ~The ability to be a traveling “photo booth.”

Photo taken by a student. Notice how the picture is faded, and the color isn’t at its most brilliant potential.

Photo taken by BAITbooth. Note the difference in quality. The background is an actual background, and BAITbooth travels to your location.

~Canoga Park High School students and staff: ~Future plans: ~extension throughout the community ~other nearby high school BAITbooth hopes to help students capture their high school memories at affordable prices yet professional results.

Our mission is to provide packaged pictures to low-income families without compromising quality. The total targeted population: STUDENTS STAFF- 100 ____________________ 1700 individuals!
