Foundation Beginnings Established Approximately 15 years ago Reinstituted in 2006 Need to create a BOD Mission & Vision statements Strategic Plan Goals & Objectives

Education Foundation Vision Statement - The public will have access to information about private sector solutions for health, financial and retirement security. Mission Statement - The NAHU Education Foundation will educate the public about the benefits of meeting the health, financial and retirement security needs of all Americans through private sector solutions.

Be Stronger, Live Better: Corporate Wellness Programs demonstrates the importance of corporate wellness programs and the positive effects they can have on the workplace.

The brochure addresses topics from "What is health insurance?” “ How does Health Insurance work?” to more pressing issues such as “Do I need Health Insurance?”

Faces of the Uninsured tells the true stories of real uninsured Americans who were able to purchase affordable health insurance through an NAHU agent.

Conclusion Need for correct Education to the public has never been greater Federal & State lawmakers need our knowledge & resources All forms of media need to tell the accurate story & proper facts EF needs to work with other coalitions & partners Must stay vigilant in Educating the public
