Governance Content developed by Bradfield Nyland Group and Pamela Spall and Assoc specifically for organisations funded by department Separate workshops being carried out by BNG Resources available through Community Door and MSO Designed for both trainers and organisations

Culturally & Linguistically Diverse Many ethnic community associations and groups lack the knowledge and skills needed to function effectively to meet their desired goals. They have limited or no knowledge of the way groups must function in Australia in order to sustain themselves, to articulate their needs, to secure resources, and to participate generally in our democracy.

Strengthening Ethnic Community Associations (SECA) Project 3 year project managed by Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland (ECCQ) Long-term benefits are –a range of well managed, accountable and sustainable ethnic community associations and –organisations delivering improved services to their members. This will have a significant and positive impact on the settlement and integration process for migrants into the Queensland community.

Indigenous Content VOICE resources specifically tailored for Indigenous organisations Templates, forms, documents, policies and procedures Available on CD-Rom Consistent approach with Standards for Community Services

An Indigenous organisation is looking for some information on the roles and responsibilities of a board. Where could you direct them to find some initial information? If this organisation then wanted to run a workshop for new board members where could you find some training materials? Quick quiz
