Introduction - Professional This is my 24th year teaching in Mayfield. I have also taught in Michigan. I have taught 1, 3, 4, 5 and now 2 nd ! Received my Bachelor’s Degree from Hillsdale College and received my Masters in Education from JCU.

Approach to Teaching I spend a lot of time getting to know your children. Enthusiastic, polite, fun, diligent, talkative, working on organization! Active Participation Stand up, whisper to your neighbor,, pick sticks, thumbs up,… *Whole Group instruction and Small Group instruction.

Classroom Information Academic Choice Classroom Organization Provide the students with opportunities to choose. Daily 5 Take ownership in the learning process. Book Boxes Desk Folders – Orange Folder should come back and forth to school daily. Please check regularly for homework, graded work, and any important notices.

Moby Max This year each child is provided with an account through the district for the Moby Max website. Here is a short video about Moby Max. Please refer to the sheet about how your child can log in to Moby Max at home for additional skill practice in Math and Reading. Used during FOX time.

XtraMath We will also be using another online resource to help review skills and track progress. XtraMath is something your child should be familiar with from last year. Please refer to the parent log in sheet for directions for setting up log in at home. Used during FOX time.
