Halloween is a very popular holiday in America! American kids love Halloween very much as at this date they have a lot of fun and sweets!!=))

Irish and Scottish immigrants carried these traditions to North America in the 19th century. At first Americans didn’t celebrate Halloween in a big crowd but nowadays it is а very popular holiday

Halloween is celebrated on the night of October 31st. At this night kids dress up different clothes and gather in small groups!!! After that they have some activities…..

Activities include trick-or-treats, ghost tours, bonfires,.... The most popular activity is trick-or-treat!!! It is а very funny activity! A group of kids ask for sweets and if you don’t give them what they want you will be tricked !!=))

Other countries started celebrating the festival in the late 20th century. In Russia Halloween is not a very popular holiday….We haven’t got such activities as in America so in Russia this holiday is celebrated in a more boring way than in America
