The Observatory on Trafficking in Human Beings (OTSH) was created in the end of 2008 in response to European and International recommendations as far as national initiatives on building monitoring systems. It was framed by the 1st National Action Plan on THB (2007/2010) and works within the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in the Directorate- General for Internal Affairs, and in close cooperation with the National Rapporteur on THB. Observatory on Trafficking in Human Beings (OTSH )

Mission and Competences 1. To produce, collect, analyse and disseminate information and knowledge on THB and other forms of gender violence; 2. To promote and develop technological applications to support data collection and analyses; 3. To support political decision-making.
