 Open –indicates that you want to get an existing document  New –indicates that you to create a new document  Save – indicates that you want to save a document with the same name and in the same place  Save As – indicates that you are 1) saving for the first time, 2) are changing the name, or 3) are saving it in a different location  Close – indicates that you are finished with the document, also can be activated by clicking on the X in the upper right corner. 5
