Don’t use your dryer: hang your clothes on a clothes line instead. Wash clothes in cold water. Replace light bulbs with CFLs. Use the microwave instead of the oven. Turn off lights that aren’t being used.
Regulate the temperature in your house. Clean/replace air filters. Lower thermostat on hot water heater to 120 degrees. Turn off your computer when your not using it. Burn all excess trash that can not be recycled.
Buy a Hybrid car. Buy more CFL light bulbs for my house. Buy all energy star appliances. Always keep up the maintenance of your car.
1- measure your carbon footprint at work. 2 - switch off lights and equipment when not in use. 3 - Unplug chargers. 4 - Print responsibly. 5 - Recycle in the office. 6 - Think before you travel for business. 7 - Buy energy efficient equipment and appliances. 8 - Buy green electricity. 9 - Install micro-renewable technologies. 10 - Champion change and make awareness.
If you reduce how much you drive your car in a year, you can save 500 pounds of CO2 if you reduce to driving 10 miles a week. Instead of driving your car you could walk, ride your bike, take public transportation whenever possible.
If you buy as much organic foods as possible you could remove 580 billion pounds of CO2. You can buy things like: vegetables, fruits, whole wheat spaghetti/bread, etc.
