2. WHAT IS IT?????  a measure of the impact our activities have on the environment, and in particular climate change. It relates to the amount of greenhouse gases produced in our day-to-day lives through burning fossil fuels for electricity, heating and transportation

3. What Can You Do  Turn off electric equipment when you are not using it.  Turn down the heat in your house, even of only by a couple degrees  Get all of your shopping for the week done in one trip  Hang clothes out to dry instead of using an electric dryer

4. Transportation  Carpool to work  Walk to school and short distances  Try to reduce your flying time  If possible try to work from home when you can  Use public transportation such as a bus

5. What Else  Drink tap water if it is safe  Buy local produce and grow what you can yourself  Reduce your meat consumption  Buy organic produce  Recycle
