Parent inclusion is necessary, i.e. volunteering, fieldtrips, homework, after-school events, student growth. Creating strong relationships and maintaining open lines of communication with parents and staff is crucial at Steele. Focusing on differentiation in the classroom is a must, especially for the Gifted and Talented students. I will plan with the schools financial situation in mind in terms of resources and field trips.
