Recommendations  After analyzing the data for TNT, we propose to the company a few suggestions on improving their current work structure. With these recommendations, we hope that TNT will be able to have a better understanding of building relationships within the company and across the Southeast Asia branches.  With the intention of encouraging employees to strive for better performance and increase their commitment level, we propose implementing a reward program system. In doing so, this motivates them to put in more effort and perform even better.  We also suggest TNT to send employees for further upgrading, training and development courses, allowing them to acquire new skills. To increase employee engagement, TNT could provide employees more rooms for freedom in expressing their views and opinions.  The management team should also set good example for employees to emulate and look up to. Therefore, we advise the CGM to attend leadership course or workshop to enhance his leadership skills.  Another of our propositions to TNT is to allow and offer opportunities for employees to perform cross-functional roles. Thus, employees could work well as a team and improve the coordination among the employees.

Recommendations

Next Steps  Since majority of the employees are rather discontented with their current pay, TNT should revised on each of the employees’ salary. Other than revising the salary, TNT should embark on a series of rewarding program to motivate and increase their enthusiasm in their work. Through this reward program, TNT can present ‘Best Model Worker’ award to employees with outstanding performance. TNT can also give incentives or salary increment as one of the rewards.  After that, TNT ought to send CGM and employees for training programs such as leadership and upgrading courses respectively. This will allow both CGM and the employees to fully utilize their skills and knowledge; hence increasing company’s overall productivity. Subsequently, employees will become more diverse and would be able to see exciting possibility for their future.  The company should set up an intranet as well where only employees can access. This website includes a forum and FAQ section allowing employees to provide constructive feedbacks. In conclusion, TNT should get employees to work with colleagues from other departments. Having this hybrid functional collaboration, it enables them to familiarize with other functional teams and get involved in what they are doing.
