Hypermedia-Enhanced Lesson Plans Across the Curriculum and School Levels Hope J. Hartman City College of New York New Educator Conference New York, N.Y. Oct.21, 2006

Definitions Hypermedia Lesson Plan has hot links embedded within it for interaction. The InTime lesson plans include links to national standards and links to definitions of terms based on their pedagogical model. Hypermedia-Enhanced means that there has been elaboration of the hypermedia lesson plan. At HyLighter, students annotate the lesson plan connecting it to course concepts and identifying relevant video clips illustrating the connections.

Purpose of Project Synthesize ideas from the course as they apply to a particular exemplary lesson. Enhance abilities to make connections between ideas from the course and resources available on the Internet. Demonstrate deep understanding of principles of effective learning, teaching and development.

Two Primary Sites for This Project InTime: Database of technologically enhanced and pedagogically sound hypermedia lesson plans and videos Pre-K – 12 across the curriculum HyLighter Interactive annotation technology

InTime Lesson Choices: Psychology of Learning & Teaching (Grad.) Read the following lesson plans and choose one of them for your project. A. PreK: Classroom Website B. K: I Love Spiders C. Grade 1, 2: Giving ‘em the Business D. Grade 3-5: Show Me Missouri’s Temperatures
