 Brainstorming the concepts (starting from scratch) – BREAK DOWN THE PROMPT (You did this yesterday.) List all terms and concepts associated with the topic.  Mark up the documents and write important information in the margins  Organizing the concepts in prewriting Write them as a concept map or organized jot list. (one word or phrase) Join like ideas on the prewrite Layout/Drafting Begin writing the ideas from the prewrite into complete sentences in the order in which you joined them on the organizer.  Revising the draft  Read through the draft making corrections, additions, deletions, etc.  Final Copy Copy the final draft into your grading folder.
