Proverbs on LOVE OF MONEY  Proverbs 1:8-19 –  “So are the ways of everyone who is greedy for gain; it takes away the life of its owners.”  Proverbs 10:2 –  “Treasures of wickedness profits nothing, but righteousness delivers from death.”

LOVERS OF GOD & Seek Him  Matthew 6:33 –  “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you.”

LOVERS OF GOD & Seek Him  Ephesians 5:1-5 –  “Therefore be imitator of God as dear children… But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints.”

LOVERS OF GOD & Seek Him  I Timothy 6:17-19 –  “Command those who are rich in this present time… Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.”

Conclusion  Love of Money is sin & we must treat it that way.  Love of Money is serious.  Love of Money separates us from God, from God’s blessings, and from God’s promises.  Love of Money will keep us out of heaven.  We are to put our trust in God and lay up treasures in heaven.

Conclusion  I Timothy 6:10 – “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil”

God’s Plan of Salvation  Hear the Word of God (Romans 10:17)  Believe in Jesus (Mark 16:16)  Repent of Sins (Acts 2:38)  Confess Faith in Christ (Acts 8:37)  Be Baptized in Water (Acts 22:16)  Remain Faithful & Grow(Revelations 2:10)  If err, repent and pray to God (Acts 8:22)

Lord’s Supper  Partaking of the Bread:  I Corinthians 11:24 –  “and when He has given thanks, He broke it and said, ‘Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”

Lord’s Supper  Partaking of the Fruit of the Vine:  I Corinthians 11:26 –  “In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”
