 Computer-generated visual aids used to help communicate information.  Combine text, graphics, and support key points.  Inform, persuade, and/or entertain an audience.

 Consider the audience.  Consider the subject.  Consider the equipment.  Consider the facilities.

 Introduction  Body  Summary and/or Conclusion

 Focus on one main idea.  Add several supporting items.  Limit the number of lines on one slide to six.  Limit long wraparound lines of text.

 Used to enhance a message or convey ideas.  May be clip art, photos, or other artwork.  Use only when relevant to the topic.  Can add creativity, but use in good taste and not on every slide.

 Lines and arrows  Can help focus an audience’s attention on important points.  Basic shapes  Boxes can separate elements or provide a distinctive background for text.  Equation shapes  Flowchart  Stars and banners  Callouts EXAMPLE!!
