DOIT’s Course Development Teams Accomplishments: Identity and Culture, Pedagogical Approaches to Promoting Inter-cultural Relations in the Classroom. Children’s Rights in and Through Education SYLLABI NEED TO BE UPLOADED FOR QUALITY ASSURANCE REVIEW. 2

Piloting the curriculum For Israeli Teaching Colleges : Gordon, Sachnin and Kaye For Georgia: All 5 HEI Structure and How many: At least one semester courses: Children’s Rights in and through Education. And 3 other DOIT courses (it could be the same as above). When: Summer 2013, 1st Semester ; 2nd Semester 2014, Summer 2014.(if go into 3 rd year—1 st semester ). 3

Piloting the curriculum For IDC and UKL Structure and How many: Need to Pilot at least 2 one semester courses. ONE OF THESE COURSES HAS TO BE CHILDREN’S RIGHTS IN AND THROUGH EDUCATION. Student Activities in 6 Institutions Finishing the plan for piloting student activities Around 12 activities “ which contribute to the universities’ culture and character of promoting cultural diversity on the campus as a whole” Page 182 One National Event in Israel and in Georgia Participants of 3 colleges in each country will get together and share experiences.

Faculty Training to teach our courses SETTING UP FACULTY WORKSHOPS: 1.Training sessions FOR courses (according to needs of each institution)… in our HEI. ( whenever BUT new faculty--- SUMMER 2014—afterwards) 2.Workshop on Children’s Rights in and Through Education. Structure: 3 five hour sessions (we can modify this). How Many: 3-10 faculty members from our Israeli and Georgian teaching colleges or university departments of education. We need to Report: Which faculty are being trained, what materials they are being trained in and feedback from the faculty. When: we can be flexible: Summer 2013, First Semester or second semester or summer

Assessments of DOIT TWO levels: – Impact of DOIT on US as professionals – Assessing Pilot impact on Students Tool will be used to assess all of DOIT’s piloted courses in all 13 academic institutions where our courses will be piloted. The course Children’s Rights in and Through Education will be ASSESSED IN 5 INSTITUTIONS USING CONTROL GROUPS: UKL; SAC; IDC; SSU, SJSTU 10

Financial Management and Midterm Report: Goal: preventing a Tsunami of materials! Deadline: NO later than AUG 30,2013 Uploading documents directly to Portal. Upload timesheets on a regular basis.( specific dates and hours for the time sheets---cannot combine days and hours) Upload mobility documents right after the mobility:: Mobility form, scanned boarding passes, tickets for travel, and invoices for cost of the tickets. Upload invoices and receipts for equipment as soon as you have them. 11
