Genesis 3:21 –God refused their clothing –Killed and made animal clothes for them To be accepted by God –Admit he’s a sinner and stop trusting in his own works –Put his faith in Jesus and His finished work God clothes all believers with the righteousness of Jesus Christ

The mercy seat God delivered the Israelites –Led them through the Red Sea, to Mount Sinai –Gave His commandments –Told them to build a tabernacle tabernacle Hebrews 9:7, 10:2-4 –Blood of animals could never pay for sin Mark 15:37-38 –Curtain hung in front of most holy place –God showed that Jesus paid full price for sin
