The Hidaya Welfare Trust for Women, Plot no.14, Mangadu, Chennai Welcomes you to a brief introduction

Objectives To provide food, shelter, basic necessities and moral support to the homeless and distressed women and children To provide medical and legal aid whenever needed. To impart Islaamic guidance & education. To extend support and guidance to the reverts to Islaam. To provide vocational training which will lead to financial independence.

Abū Hurairah (ra) said, the Prophet of Allah (pbuh) said: "The one who looks after and works for a widow and for a poor person is like a warrior fighting for Allāh’s Cause, or the one who keeps awake in the night (for prayers) and fasts during the day.“ (Buhari. 5353) ‘The likeness of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah, is as the likeness of a grain that sprouts seven spikes. In every spike there are hundred grains, and Allah multiplies for whom He will' (Al Qur’an2:261).

Motivated by the Quranic verses and the sayings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), we have joined hands to alleviate a small portion of the problem in the society. We look forward to your valuable suggestions, support and duas in continuing this endeavor.
