1. Masjidul Aqsa – A Brief Introduction Inspiring Verse from Noble Qu’ran وَلْتَكُنْ مِنْكُمْ أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى الْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong: They are the ones to attain felicity. 2. Establishment Masjidul Aqsa was established as a Madarasathul Aqsa on 1998 in a small shed and then 5 times prayers were started in this place. Then we moved to our own land 6/11 Masthan Sahib Street, Noorabath Pothanur, Coimbatore. Our Objective  Convey the message of Islam to muslims and non muslims  Eradicate Shirk and Bidah which is prevalent among our society  Stop the social evils like dowry, alcohol, etc  To develop the society through education  To build a peaceful and harmonious society

3. Aqsa infrastructure Masjidul Aqsa is something beyond the common masjid, we utilize masjid for various islamic activities, as madarasa for children, as a islamic library, as a auditorium for conducting events for the students, tuition center, marriage hall and many more. We are in the final stage of its construction of our masjid. Our Masjid comprises of Ground floor and First floor. First floor is still under the construction and this is dedicated completely for the sisters. We have an excellent library which has books,videos,audios in english,tamil,hindi,urdu,malayalam

4. Our Activities 5 times prayers is performed Separate Madarasa for boys and girls of age group (7-15) Tuition classes for school students Weekly Jumah prayer Weekly Lectures exclusively for sisters Da’wah on Street on every Thursdays

5. Islamic activities Dawah to non muslims through lectures, Clearing Misconceptions through Q&A Sessions and literatures. Tharbiya on various topics like “Salah, Janaza prayer, Administration, Dawah” etc Summer camp for sisters and childrens to educate them the basics of Islam Collection of Fitra and distributing to poor Ifthar and Sahar is organised in the month of ramadan Salathul Layl during ramadan and lectures after salah Eid Salah is organised in open grounds as per Quran and Sunnah Combined Qurbani and distribution to poor Dawah through website www.masjidulaqsa.in

6. Social Activities Encouraging and conducting Dowry less Marriage Interest free loan scheme for poor to start business or in case of emergency, To prevent muslims from RIBA( Major Sin) Scholarships for needy students and note books for poor students every year Prize distribution for toppers of 10 and 12std students Medical aids for needy people for both muslims and non muslims Blood Donation at the time of emergency
