Fauvism By: Nicholas McCullagh

Materiels They used paint tubes and using them in a aggressive manor.

Abstract People like abstract better because the messiness adds creativity and has no style.

The ‘David’ What he was trying to do is make a heroic and efficacious man. Many people where very excited to see it. It was made by Michelangelo.

‘The thinker’ The thinker was made by Rodin and it was inspired by Dante’s Inferno.

Are They Connected? They are connected because they are very famous painters and they have the same technique of sculptures.

Henri Matisse He was born on 1869 and died on 1954 which was when the first hydrogen bomb exploded. He has been through a lot like the worlds greatest wars and slaughters. This painting is in black and white. It shows a pattern that is simple but blends in with the main part of the painting. The person is not complete but maybe that’s a style.
