4 Introduction to the Enforcement Company View The ‘Enforcement Company’ view provides Enforcement users access to detailed Company information and activity as recorded by FMCSA The portlets available on the ‘Enforcement Company’ view includes:  Alerts  Company BASICs  Correspondence  Company Assignments  Quick Links  Company Details  Company Data Activity

5 Accessing ‘Company Data Search’ Portlet From the Enforcement home page, Enforcement users can access the ‘Company Data Search’ Portlet, to perform a search by USDOT# or an Advanced Search to view Company information

6 Company Search Enforcement users can search for the companies whose information they would like to review by entering the Company’s USDOT # or by using the Advanced Search option when the USDOT# is not known  The Advanced Search includes MC/MX #, Company Name, State, Country or Postal Code  Advanced Search supports wild card searches for starts with, ends with and contains as well as combined search parameters using the operators “and” and “or”

7 Company Search (Cont’d) To search for companies to view their Company information by USDOT#:  Enter the “USDOT#”  Click the “Submit” button  Enforcement users are presented with the Enforcement Company Information View for the entered USDOT#

8 Company Search (Cont’d) To search for companies to view their Company information by Advanced Search:  Click the “Advanced Search” link  Enter your Search Criteria  Search Criteria may include a combination of the MC/MX #, Company Name, State, Country and/or Postal Code  Click the “Find Results” button  Enforcement users are presented with the Search Results for the entered company search criteria

9 Company Search Results On the Company Search Results screen Enforcement users can view the list of companies which matched the entered search criteria, including the ability to print, download or sort the company search results

10 Print and Download Company Search Results On the Company Search Results screen Enforcement users can print and download the list of companies To download the company search results  Click the Download List button to download the result’s into an Excel spreadsheet To print the company search results  Click the Print List button

11 View Company Information To view a Company’s information from the Company Search Results  Click the “Magnifying Glass”

12 Alerts Portlet The alerts will display as full text with no available navigation to any additional details The ‘Alerts’ Portlet displays Enforcement alerts under ‘Enforcement Alerts’ and Company alerts under ‘Company Alerts’

13 Company BASICs Portlet The ‘Company BASICs’ Portlet displays the status of the Company’s Serious Violations as well as the display of the mid-month Serious Violation detection icon

14 Correspondence Portlet The ‘Correspondence’ Portlet lists all correspondence generated in MCMIS, EMIS and L&I that were sent to a company The 10 most recent correspondence will display by the Date Sent in descending order To search for correspondence:  Select the “From Date”  Select the “To Date”  Click “Search” Click the Document icon to view the correspondence Click the Magnifying Glass to view details about the correspondence

15 Company Assignments Portlet The ‘Company Assignments’ Portlet contains summary information about open assignments for the Company being viewed To view additional assignment details  Click the “Magnifying Glass”

16 Quick Links Portlet The ‘Quick Links’ Portlet provides access to the following functionality:  Process Cooperative Safety Plan  Allows Enforcement users with the appropriate role to access functionality to process a Cooperative Safety Plan submitted by the Company. –Displays only if the Company being viewed is in the jurisdiction of the Enforcement user’s role.  Request Company Safety Profile Report  Allows Enforcement users to access the Reports functionality to request a Safety Profile Report for a Company  Record Serious Violation Resolution  Allows Enforcement users with the appropriate role to access functionality to record the resolution of Serious Violations detected during an Investigation for a Company. –Displays only if the Company being viewed is in the jurisdiction of the Enforcement user’s role.

17 Quick Links Portlet (Cont’d)  Make an Assignment  Allows Enforcement users with the appropriate role to make an assignment for the Company. –Displays only if the Company being viewed is in the jurisdiction of the Enforcement user’s role.  Drivers w/Red Flag Violations  Allows Enforcement users to access functionality to view the Drivers for a Company with Red Flag Violations

18 Company Details Portlet The ‘Company Details’ Portlet contains a view of the following Company information:  Registration  Recent Activity  Current Safety Rating  Prioritization  Operating Authority information From this portlet Enforcement users are able to drill down to view:  Power Units  Drivers  Operating Authority

19 Company Data Activity Portlet The ‘Company Data Activity’ Portlet displays detailed information for a Company as collected by FMCSA under the Company’s USDOT Number Upon login the default view for the ‘Company Data Activity’ Portlet is the ‘Summary’ Tab, ‘Crashes’ View

20 Summary Tab, Crash View The ‘Summary’ Tab, ‘Crash’ View displays a summary of a Company’s crash(es) information The Enforcement user has the option to search for a crash by Date Type and Timeframe To search for a crash  Select the “Date Type”  Select the “Timeframe”  Click “Search”

21 Summary Tab, Inspections View The ‘Summary’ Tab, ‘Inspection’ View displays a summary of Company’s Inspection information The Enforcement user has the option to search for an Inspection by Date Type and Timeframe To search for an Inspection  Select the “Date Type”  Select the “Timeframe”  Click “Search”

22 Summary Tab, IEP Inspections View The ‘Summary’ Tab, ‘IEP Inspection’ View displays a summary of a Company’s IEP inspection information The Enforcement user has the option to search for an IEP Inspection by Date Type and Timeframe To search for an Inspection  Select the “Date Type”  Select the “Timeframe”  Click “Search”

23 Summary Tab, Interventions and Safety Audit View The ‘Summary’ Tab, ‘Interventions and Safety Audit’ View displays a summary of a Company’s Interventions and Safety Audit information The Enforcement user has the option to search for an Intervention or Safety Audit by Timeframe To search for an Intervention or Safety Audit  Select the “Timeframe”  Click “Search”

24 Crash List The ‘Crash List’, displays detailed information about a Company’s Crash(es) The Enforcement user can view a ‘Crash Detail View Report’ for a Company’s crash(es) To view a ‘Crash Detail View Report’  Select the “Magnifying Glass”

25 Inspection List The ‘Inspection List’, displays detailed information about a Company’s Inspections The Enforcement user can view a ‘Inspections Detail View Report’ for a Company’s Inspections To view a ‘Inspections Detail View Report’  Select the “Magnifying Glass”

26 IEP Inspection List The ‘IEP Inspection List’, displays detailed information about a Company’s IEP Inspections The Enforcement user can view an ‘IEP Inspections Detail View Report’ for a Company’s IEP Inspections To view an ‘IEP Inspections Detail View Report’  Select the “Magnifying Glass”

27 Intervention List The ‘Intervention List’, displays detailed information about a Company’s Interventions The Enforcement user can drill down into an Intervention to view additional details To drill down into an Intervention  Select “(+)”

28 Company Census History The ‘Company Census History’, displays detailed information about changes to a Company’s Census record The Enforcement user can view additional details about a Census record change in the ‘Company Census History Change Date Details’ To view additional details  Select the “Magnifying Glass”

29 Introduction to ‘Company View’ Option to View Company Information The ‘Company View’ menu option provides functionality that allows Enforcement users to search, access and view Company information Enforcement users can view Company information in exactly the same format it is viewed by the Company users The Company homepage provides a view of the following Company information:  Alerts  Correspondence  Company Registration and Operating Authority Information  Company Activity  Company Safety Profile Reports

30 Accessing ‘Company View’ to View Company Information Enforcement users can access the same view of Company information that is available to Company users to more effectively facilitate their support of customers To switch from the Enforcement view to the Company view  Select the menu item “Company View”  Enforcement users are presented with the Company Search screen

31 Company Search Enforcement users can search for the companies whose information they would like to review by entering the Company’s USDOT # or by using the Advanced Search option when the USDOT# is not known  The Advanced Search includes MC/MX #, Company Name, State, Country or Postal Code  Advanced Search supports wild card searches for starts with, ends with and contains as well as combined search parameters using the operators “and” and “or”

32 Company Search (cont’d) To perform a search for companies registered with FMCSA using the Company Search screen, by USDOT#  Enter the USDOT#  Click the Submit button  Enforcement users are presented with the Company View for the entered USDOT#

33 Company Search (cont’d) To perform a search for companies registered with FMCSA using the Company Search screen, by Advanced Search  Click the Advanced Search link  Enter your Search Criteria  Search Criteria may include a combination of the MC/MX #, Company Name, State, Country or Postal Code  Click the Find Results button  Enforcement users are presented with the Search Results for the entered company search criteria

34 Company Search Results On the Company Search Results screen Enforcement users can view the list of companies which matched the entered search criteria, including the ability to print, download or sort the company search results

42 Reports Menu - Company Safety Profile Report Enforcement users may request a report on a Company’s Safety Profile under the ‘Reports’ Menu on the Company home page

43 Reports Menu - Company Safety Profile Report To request a Company Safety Profile Report:  Select the “Reports” menu item  Enter the search criteria  Select “Submit Request” For more details on requesting a Safety Profile Report refer to the Company User training module: Safety Profile Report Requests Download XML Download PDF

44 Refresh USDOT# Link The ‘Refresh USDOT#’ field on the Company Home Page in the upper right corner of the screen allows Enforcement users to switch USDOT#s to view a different Company’s information at any time  To navigate to a different Company:  Enter the “USDOT#”  Click the “Refresh” button To return to the Enforcement View or Enforcement Home Page:  Select the “Enforcement View” menu item

45 Review Enforcement Users can access Company information by using the ‘Company Data Search’ Portlet and entering a Company’s USDOT# or performing an Advanced Search  Change USDOT#s by using the Refresh USDOT# function at the top of the screen  Use the Enforcement View link to return back to viewing Enforcement data The Portal view of Company Information includes the following:  Alerts  The ‘Alerts’ Portlet displays information about actions that have been taken against a Company or will be taken against a company unless the Company responds appropriately  Company BASICs  The ‘Company BASICs’ Portlet displays the status of the company’s Serious Violations as well as the display of the ‘mid-month Serious Violation detection icon  Correspondence  The ‘Correspondence’ Portlet lists all correspondence generated in MCMIS, EMIS and L&I and sent to the Company  Company Assignments  The ‘Company Assignments’ Portlet contains the details of open assignments

46 Review (Cont’d)  Quick Links  The ‘Quick Links’ Portlet provides access to the Process Cooperative Safety Plan, Request Company Safety Profile Report, Record Serious Violation Resolution, Make an Assignment and Drivers w/Red Flag Violations functionality. The Record Serious Violation Resolution, Process Cooperative Safety Plan and Make an Assignment functionality is role based and will be only be displayed if the Company being viewed is in the jurisdiction of the Enforcement user’s role.  Company Details  The ‘Company Details’ Portlet contains a view of the Company’s Registration, Recent Activity, Current Safety Rating, Prioritization and Operating Authority information. From this portlet Enforcement users are able to drill down to view the Power Units, Drivers and Operating Authority details  Company Data Activity  The ‘Company Data Activity’ Portlet includes Summary data, Crash activity, Inspection activity, Review activity and Cases Closed with Enforcement Access the Company User training documentation to obtain additional details about information included in the Company View.
