What is copyright? According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary:  Copyright- (n) the exclusive legal right to reproduce, publish, sell, or distribute the matter and form of something (as a literary, musical, or artistic work)  The US Copyright Office states, ‘Copyright protects the particular way an author has expressed himself. It does not extend to any ideas, systems, or factual information conveyed in the work.’

Copyright Duration 

Copyright Infringement  Lawsuit  Cease and desist letter  ‘a letter from the copyright holder instructing the person using his/her work to stop doing what they are doing.’

Avoid Copyright Conflicts…   Use own content when possible  Obtain permission before using someone else’s content  Do not rely on “fair use”  Be available  Choose good hosting
