A Healthy Balance

To see how an average teenager has a balanced diet I have constructed some pie graphs to show how much a teenager consumes of nutrition and exercise.

Here are my results on an average teenagers exercises and nutrition.

How many glasses of water do you drink a day? In the pie graph it shows if an average teenager consumes the right amount of water during the hours of the day. The intake an average teenager should be consuming of water is 6-8 glasses ( litres) and 3-4 glasses during school time. The 6-8 section is the most which is very good to see because the average teenager is consuming the correct amount of water a day. How much exercise do you do a week? From the pie graph you can see how much an average teenager does exercise a week. Most people went for the 4-6 times a week, but on average for a year old it is 60 minutes of high energy exercise a day!

For an average teenager it is very important to stay fit and healthy. By just doing 60 minuets of high energy excises everyday and eating the right amount of food and the healthier choice foods you will be a fit and healthy teen. To accomplish being a healthy teen you can jog/run, use the skipping rope, walk, speed walk etc. By being an average teen you need to consume nutrition to feel well as you go through the day. The most important meal is breakfast, but most teen cant be bothered eating it or don’t have the time. Breakfast is also important if your not eating lunch on a regular basis and wait till after school to eat dinner. During the school day you need energy and optimum health to keep you concentrated. You can achieve this by consuming protein, carbohydrates and healthy fats.

Here are some things you can do to stay fit and health. Sit ups: Lay on your back with you knees bent and you feet flat on the ground. Put you hands on your thighs or at the back of your head. Slowly move your upper body up towards your knees using you stomach muscles. Hold then release back down slowly. Push ups: Hold your body up by you arms and legs as shown in the diagram. Your arms must be shoulder width apart. Then move down slowly toward the ground. Hold then push back up again.

The end.
