Daphene Blackmon Project Director 1

What is GATRACS? The project objective is to improve information on articulation opportunities and course transferability in the State of Georgia. We want to remove the barriers and create a one stop information site where students can find information on how to transfer. 2

GATRACS Partners University System of Georgia Technical College System of Georgia Georgia Department of Education Georgia Student Finance Commission 3

Year 1 Goals All institutions will have implemented the transfer articulation module in Banner Decision Academic will have Transfer Navigator application set up to manage courses, transfer equivalencies, grade scales, terms, and institutions that are part of the USG and TCSG Decision Academic will have Transfer Navigator student wizard set up to allow students to search for and self-declare Academic History, find transfer equivalencies, compare results for 1 to 2 schools simultaneously Access to Transfer Navigator from within GACollege411 portal, including SSO/rSSO and a landing page at the hosted site will be established Import of dual enrollment (ACCEL) transfer agreements (High School to College) to the Transfer Navigator database will be established Decision Academic will have the reporting module set up

Year 2 Goals Students who self declare academic history will be able to push the transfer equivalencies they discover in Transfer Navigator to an institution‘s DegreeWorks system for an audit of transfer equivalencies against a specific program. Institutions will establish batch updates of transfer data from institutional systems to Transfer Navigator Decision Academic will establish a workflow approval process to bring high school dual credit courses through an automated approval process and into Transfer Navigator (currently pushed manually through a complex process, approved, and then maintained in a spreadsheet).
