S1 – S3 BGE Continued. Home Economics – 1 period S1/2. Computing/Business Education – 1 period S1 and S3. PE – 1 period S1, 2 periods S2/3. Personal and Social Education – 1 period S1 – S3. Interdisciplinary Short Courses 2 periods in S2.

S3 – Principles of Course Design Courses should…… Be based on the Level 3/4 Outcomes and Experiences. Have contexts/content selected to enhance the BGE and prepare for the Senior Phase. Include assessment that will allow initial recommendations for S4 courses at Access 3, National 4 or 5. Be efficient on staffing to support the Senior Phase.
