All Hands Community Meeting Schedule for December 2014 – The next and final 2014 DAF All Hands Community meeting for December will be on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 12:00 pm (EST) – We will resume the webinars starting Wednesday, January 14 th 2015 at 12:00 pm (EST) DAF IHE/S&I Joint Work Effort – These joint calls will focus on the development of the Document Access IG that was accepted for the 2014/2015 IHE Development cycle – These will be re-occurring weekly calls taking place every Monday from 10:00-11:00 am (EST) – Meeting details can be found on the DAF homepage: General Announcements 4

HL7 December/January Ballot Cycle Pool Sign- up Fast Approaching – With a DAF FHIR profile and IG ballot submission underway, we ask any S&I community members that are also current HL7 members to please sign up for the DAF consensus or review group in the January 2015 Ballot Cycle by Thursday, December 11, 2014 – NOTE: This deadline also applies to non-members who wish to sign up for non-member participation in a ballot cycle – Ballot instructions can be found at: – Voting and comments are open between 12/12/2014 to 1/12/2015 General Announcements CONTINUED 6
IHE Collaboration – DAF’s Document Metadata Based IG proposal was accepted by PCC and will be created as a National Extension with the help of IHE USA – Join us during our joint calls with IHE PCC and IHE USA as we work on developing the IG – The calls will take place every Monday morning at 10:00 am (EST) and the meeting details can be found on the DAF homepage: epage epage DAF Document Metadata Based IG Activities 7
IHE Collaboration – This week (12/1) on the joint S&I and IHE call: Discussed the roles of the various organizations – IHE PCC International – Produce the framework to create national extensions and internationalize any work that is relevant from the national extensions to International Realm – IHE USA – Own and ballot the DAF Document Access IG – S&I Framework – Responsible for authoring and developing the DAF Document Access IG – Next Week (12/8): – Discussion of the Document Access IG work to date – Discussion of IHE PCC work product DAF Document Metadata Based IG Activities CONTINUED 8
