Latitude and Longitude of largest city in region: 47 degrees north, 83 degrees west. *What could be some of the reasons people chose to live in this region or large city?: Because there are many things to do there, and nice places to live.

Place Customs, religions, ethnic groups in region: Celebrate Christmas, Easter, mostly Americans live here. Identify and locate- major resources: Water, corn, wheat major landforms: Great Lakes, Mississippi River. Describe climate and weather patterns: Cold and snowy in winter, warm and sunny in summer. *What effect does climate have on settlement patterns in the region? Not many people live here as other regions because it is cold for most of the year.
