4.  Economic Issues-  The unemployment rate is about 11.1%  The salary is going up about 0.4%  Climate affecting the settlement-  Many people want to live there because it has California and that has Holly Wood and it’s warm most of the time.  Pollution-  If there is pollution in the ocean, that could have a drastic amount of resources that they have to use, since one of their major resources is fish, crabs, etc.

5.  Why people live where they live-  If people like the beautiful views from the Rocky Mountains, they might choose to live in Idaho, Montana, or Wyoming. Or for Hawaii, the volcano’s.  Transportation of goods-  The goods are transported by plane, car, truck(highway), or by a boat/cruise on a river.  Traditions & Customs-  In California they celebrate celebrities birthdays  Transportation routes interrupted-  If there was a bad storm and the planes couldn’t fly, they would have to have whatever was going in the plane go in a car or boat.

6.  Major tourist attractions-  Holly Wood, Rocky Mountains, Disney Land, Volcano’s in Hawaii, etc.  Interesting characteristics-  Most of the states are bordering the Pacific Ocean.  Economic impact on the U.S.-  Alaska catches a lot of fish, and a lot of people go to see Holly Wood, so it gains a lot of taxes and money for the government.
