Skills Navigator Overview Skills Navigator is a progress monitor measuring mastery between MAP test For students below, at, and above grade level At-risk, RTI progress monitoring, enrichment Proprietary Skills Framework (over 1,000 discrete K-8 skills foundational to college & career readiness skills) Reading (comprehension & vocabulary), Language Usage & Math

Overview Continued For readers / 1:1 proctoring for non-readers Adaptive Skills Locator identifies skills for learning (15 minutes) Fixed-form Mastery Check to show evidence of learning (5 minutes – about 6 items) Strands correspond to MAP goal structures Curated instructional content (127 step process) Suitable for all grade levels “Game-like” user interface for students Test in as little as 5 mins (Mastery), 15 mins (Locator)

Flexible The Skills Locator is optional. Teachers can determine how many skills they would like to have checked from a single strand – from 1 – 5 skills in a Skills Locator Teachers can also skip the Skills Locator and assign student Missions (Mastery Checks) based on the curriculum and pacing guides completed in the classroom. Teachers can also certify student mastery of skills based on classroom work.

Fast In as little as 15 minutes, the Skills Locator can identify up to 5 skills in a single strand that need work. Mastery Checks can be completed in as little as 5 minutes – or 15 minutes to identify a student’s independent reading level
