Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep (NILMDTS) One of the things that NILMDTS does to promote their company is to showcase what types of things they do on their website. They also have a saying that helps to capture their mission that is often incorporated into their campaigns: “There’s no foot too small that it cannot leave an imprint on this world.”

American Heart Association One of the major ways that this association gets the word out is through campaigns for women They have several types of logos and slogans which encourage living a heart-healthy life. This includes “Learn and Live,” “Be the beat,” and “Love your heart.”

American Cancer Society The American Cancer Society typically utilizes the colors red and blue in their campaigns to keep things simple and classic. Another design that I found includes a Relay for Life statement to promote the company’s philanthropy event but also incorporates the American Cancer Society’s logo.

Susan G. Koman For the Cure One of the most obvious things about the Susan G. Koman For the Cure campaigns is the incorporation of the color pink. The company uses pink and the classic breast cancer symbol to keep the logos consistent. In one of the things I’ve found, the non profit advertizes one of their philanthropy walk events with the color pink and the classic symbol.

First Candle First Candle utilizes a very specific font that makes it easily recognizable to anyone familiar with the company. One of the other stylistic elements in this design is the flame above the “l” in candle. Another design I found was one where it’s a simple shot of two hands holding a cupcake with the words “we’re here to help.” I think this design doesn’t work very well though because no one really knows what it means in terms of First Candle.

National Children’s Cancer Society The National Children’s Cancer Society markets themselves by using the acronym “nccs” in all lowercase letters to represent their non profit. Another thing I found was a logo with two hands reaching out towards each other and the words “National Children’s Cancer Society” wrapping around the picture. This also helps to get the word out about the company.
