The British National Party

Brief History of the PartyBrief History of the Party  Founded in 1982 by John Tyndall  The result of a split within the National Front  Not intended to be a long term split  Membership was restricted to “ indigenous Caucasians ”  Membership policies challenged in court in 2009  Now the party accepts anyone provided they agree with value that the country shall remain “fundamentally British”  In 2010, they received 1.9% of the popular vote  Failed to win any seats  Had risen from.7% in 2005

Founder and Current LeaderFounder and Current Leader  John Tyndall  Tyndall was convicted of publishing material likely to incite racial hated in 1986 and was jailed  2004, Arrested on suspicion of incitement to racial hatred towards Michael Howard's Jewish roots and towards African people, following a BBC documentary which aired July  On April 6, 2005, he was charged by police  Died before trial  Nick Griffin, Current  Controversial for Holocaust denial  Worked with the white power skinhead band “ skrewdriver ”  Once referred to the Holocaust as the “Holohoax”  Openly anti-homosexual agenda has been revealed in interviews for both print and television media.  Call themselves white “survivalists” not white “supremacists”

Manifesto  Slowly raise defense spending, but leave all foreign military engagements  End all immigration and encourage voluntary resettlement, but continue to recognize the right of law-abiding minorities to remain in the UK and enjoy the full protection of the law.  “Loves Europe, hates the EU”  Abolish multiculturalism and preserve Britain  Environment is affected by mass immigration, not the “climate hoax”

Manifesto (2)Manifesto (2)  The EU is an Orwellian Super-State  The BNP believes that the historical record shows that Islam is by its very nature incompatible with modern secular western democracy.  The BNP will repeal all laws aimed at restricting freedom of speech, including those relating to race relations and religion.

Manifesto (3)Manifesto (3)  The restoration of discipline – including corporal punishment – uniforms, traditional teaching methods and stricter exams.  The reintroduction of competitive sports and daily Christian assemblies  The improvement of school food as proper meals have been shown to be linked to behavior and achievement;

Manifesto (4)Manifesto (4)  The teaching of a full curriculum of British history. This will instill in our young people knowledge of and pride in the history, cultures and heritage of the native peoples of Britain, and not the cherry-picked politically correct drivel being fed to children today;  The teaching of old-fashioned literacy skills (as opposed to clearly failed “modern” teaching methods);  The teaching of old-fashioned mathematics skills which have practical application to everyday life;
