Instructions  There are 20 slides which list abilities and interests, such as “working with your hands” or “speaking in public.”  As you read the slide, decide whether this is something that you find VERY INTERESTING (1) RATHER INTERESTING (2) A LITTLE INTESTING (3) NOT VERY INTERESTING (4) NOT AT ALL INTERESTING (5)

Instructions  Find the number on the wall that corresponds to how you feel about that topic, and move to that location.  Reminder: 1 means you find something really interesting, five means you aren’t at all interested in it….

I am…. good with my hands. I like working with things I can touch and hold.

I like… problem solving! I like looking at a problem and figuring out ways to solve it. (solving math problems, figuring out how to fix a car that is making strange sounds…any sort of problem solving!)

Response:  On a lined piece of paper, please write a paragraph (five sentences minimum) on your strongest interests and abilities. Choose a couple of the interests from the slides, and tell me why you like it so much. What do you do that allows you to use this interest? Is there a career area that you are interested in, because of this ability of yours?
