A cochlear implant consists of five components.

Cochlear implants work differently from hearing aids.

Cochlear implants can greatly improve the life of a deaf person.

There are certain setbacks associated with cochlear implants

New developments are in store for the future of cochlear implants.

Despite controversy, the life-changing effects of a cochlear implant are obvious.
