Regional Training Coordinators  Two per region selected by EAC representatives from the region and the region’s current Regional Training Coordinators.  Responsible for identifying the training needs in their region and communicating these needs to the EAC Education Committee, including the region’s training budget and coordinating national training activities.

Regional Training Coordinators  Responsible for organizing workshops in their region and for designing their local region’s training programme.  May choose to be trainers or they may prefer to be responsible primarily for local arrangements, planning the programme, and communicating training needs to the EAC Education Committee.

Trainers  The role of the trainers is to provide substantive instruction in their region’s training programme.  The recognized expertise of the trainer will determine the instructional areas that she or he will be responsible.  They may be called upon to teach in other regions because of their expertise.  The trainers should demonstrate sound pedagogical skills.
